 Mesn is reporting When Daisuke Matsuzaka completes his rehab stint and returns to the Red Sox, don't be surprised if he gets shuttled off to the bullpen, at least to start. Matsuzaka's return gives the Red Sox the fortunate yet difficult task of finding spots for six quality starters.
Josh Beckett, John Lester, and John Lackey are locked into the top three spots, leaving two rotation spots for Matsuzaka, Tim Wakefield and Clay Bucholz. The Red Sox seem intent on keeping Bucholz in the rotation and letting him develop as a starter, meaning the final decision will be down to Matsuzaka and Wakefield.
